Dear fellow NOVA members and supporters,

NOVA has partnered with Gruppo Sella for a special fundraising campaign to create 20 new ICU beds (terapia intensiva) in Lombardy, to contrast the COVID-19 emergency as well as support the Buzzi children’s hospital
—> Every amount counts, so please donate as much or as little as you see fit, but please donate now and help us support Italy and save lives!

Several key reasons to donate now:
– Donations from this NOVA campaign will be matched by Gruppo Sella, as part of a joint initiative
– Donations will go directly to the Fondazione Buzzi (non-profit) and are therefore tax deductible donations
– Donations will be used to buy Intensive Care Unit equipment for the Buzzi children’s hospital in Milan
– In the short term, the equipment will also be made available to patients from Ospedale Sacco and the other hospitals on the front lines in Lombardy, currently fighting the COVID-19 emergency

We are going though challenging times and this can certainly be a small but very important step we can all make to save lives: every ICU bed can save one or more life now, as well as in the coming years.

Il Gruppo Sella è a sostegno delle unità sanitarie nel fronteggiare questo momento di emergenza e sostenerle nell’acquisto di attrezzature e nella cura dei pazienti.
Il Gruppo Sella sostiene la Fondazione Buzzi: con l’emergenza Covid-19 il numero delle apparecchiature e dei posti letto all’interno dei reparti di Terapia Intensiva degli ospedali della Lombardia è largamente insufficiente, come evidenziato dai dati pubblici.
Per questo Fondazione Buzzi vuole sostenere la Terapia Intensiva dell’Ospedale Buzzi, dotandola di 20 posti letto.
In un momento di così grande difficoltà ed emergenza, Fondazione Buzzi si impegnerà a mettere a disposizione dell’Ospedale Sacco e degli altri ospedali della Lombardia le apparecchiature donate e necessarie per fronteggiare l’emergenza.
Il nostro aiuto vale doppio: non solo Fondazione Buzzi è stata la prima, il 13 febbraio 2020, a lanciare la necessità di aumentare i posti letto di terapia Intensiva pediatrica ed in generale a porre attenzione a questo tema, ma tutto ciò che sarà donato oggi, contribuirà ad allestire la nuova Terapia Intensiva dell’Ospedale Buzzi di Milano che sarà parte del padiglione di 7 piani che sta sorgendo accanto all’ospedale esistente.
