Ugo Di Francesco 
Group CEO Kedrion Biopharma 
Ugo Di Francesco is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He has held several high-level leadership positions, notably serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chiesi Group from 2011 to 2022, where he led the company's global operations and oversaw significant growth in sales. Before that, he was CEO of Sigma-Tau and held executive roles at Amgen, Novartis, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Since January 2023, he has been the Group CEO at Kedrion Biopharma, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in plasma-derived therapies. His career highlights include managing business operations across Europe and globally, leading acquisitions, and growing companies from national to global players. He holds an executive MBA from Bologna Business School and serves on several boards including Labomar S.p.A. and Almirall S.A.
